A Time of Growth

Ahhh, looking back on my sweet seventh grade days! I am now in 10th grade, and have started a new blog. I will post the web address below. Anyhow, I would love to thank all of my viewers. My heart is so full because of my persistence as a child of God, no matter what a baby Christian I was. Anyways, now that I have grown as a Christian, I would appreciate if you would take a few moments to look at my new blog. If you do not like it, please, never look at it again. But you may find that you enjoy it!

The rest of Psalm 139:1-12

Verses 7-10:
These verses are basically saying that God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit is always with us. We can never "lose" him. It says in the footnotes of my Bible, "God is omnipresent. Because of this, you can NEVER be lost to His spirit." Then it says that wherever we go God is keeping an eye on us, and His hand is guiding and protecting us.

Verses 11-12:
Thsee verses are saying that sometimes we sin, and we may think,"God will never take me back." The truth is that God never left you!! God loves us so much that darkness mis light to Him when it comes to his children.

Extra:
In my Bible there is a footnote by verse 12 that says to look up Job 34:22. It says, "There is no dark place, no shadow, where evil doers can hide."

Psalm 139:1-12

Hey guys!!! I started doing quiet time in the morning so I thought that I would put what I learned on here.

Verses 1-4: God knows everything about us, He knows what we are going to day before we even say it. He knows if I act like myself when I'm around my parents or when I'm around my friends. It takes a long time to create a relationship so that the person you're creating a relationship with can finish your sentences. What it's saying here is that God MADE you! He knew you before you were even born, so He already had that special relationship with you when you were born.

Verses 5-6: Then it's says, "You (God) hem me in - behind and before; You have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is to wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain." It's true! When you think that God made you, He always knows what you are about to say, that His hand is always protecting us, and so much more, it is really more than we can grasp.

There is more but I'm running out of room so I'll have to say the rest on my next post.

Hey!!!!

Wow it's been a LONG time since I've been on, sorry for that! Since I was last on I have gone on a mission trip with my youth group, my youth pastor has left my church, the Wednesday school I go to has ended, I have a few days left of school, and my iPod has broken! Wow... it's been longer than I thought!!! Alright let's start with my youth pastor. The very first Sunday of March he walks up to the podium at church, which isn't unusual because he usually dismisses us with prayer, but instead of announcing things before the prayer like he usually does he gets up there and starts telling people how much of a blessing Central has been etc. Well of course all the girls in the youth group were crying and so were some of the boys but we realized that he's only going to go bless others so we got over it. I went to Gatlinburg, TN the week before our youth pastor left and we worked on apartments. We had a lot of fun and it was totally worth the long trip up there. A few Saturdays ago we went to my dad's Sunday School class picnic. While I was walking on a concrete driveway I pulled out my iPod to check the time, and it slipped out of my hand hand and hit the concrete driveway. I picked it up and the screen was completly shattered. I finally went to my parents and told them and they were ok with it and we sent it in so I am hoping it will be back soon. Also, in a contest for my homeschooling group my name got pulled and now I have won a Nook e-reader so it will be coming in the mail soon.

Hey!!!

Hey guys!!! I bet you are glad I'm on again!!! Today I went to the Wednesday school that I go to. I walked 12 laps around the track and the equals one mile! I actually ran three laps then walked three laps until I had a total of 12. We had a special visitor today! It was a dog, but she was so cute!! Her name is Sandy and she is 5 years old! Her owner is teaching her to be a therapy dog! That means that she will go to hospitals or nursing homes and try to cheer people up! Sandy already knows the commands sit, stay, and lie down!! There is one more command that she has to learn to become a therapy dog and it is leave. Dogs naturally pick up stuff that's on the floor, but when she goes to visit people there might be medicine or food on the floor that Sandy isn't supposed to touch. She hasn't learned it yet but it was still fun to see her do all of her other tricks! We had piano lessons today and they are so much easier for me now! I am at the end of my book so my piano teacher is going to get me some new books and I am so excited! That's all that I have done today!!!

Sorry!!!

Hey guys!! I'm so sorry I haven't been on for so long!!! Blogger kept kicking me out and it wouldn't let log in!! I finally figured out how to and I'm soo happy to be back and telling you about my life!! This Friday my sister Allyson is having her birthday party!! She choose a magic theme so we will be making wizard hats and learning a card trick!!! Allyson is so excited she can hardly sleep at night! I haven't even told you about our new pastor at church or his daughter!! Our new pastor is amazing! He always speaks what is in the bible. He is funny and he keeps my attention! His daughter is my age and she is really sweet! She's not like some pastors kids who think that everyone has to like them! She is easy to start a conversation with! She has really blessed my life! While I have not been able to post my blogs I started a Beth Moore bible study with my mom and I am having so much fun with it! The bible study is on revelation! Beth really helps me understand what I am reading! I can understand the bible! At first I thought it was a bad idea but now I now that it was a great idea and it's a great way to spend time with my mom!! I will not wait forever to post my next blog if I can help it!! But until then have a good life!

Hi!

Hi guys sorry I haven't been on in a few days! Today we (my family) went and climbed Pinnacle Mountain. It was really fun! We went up the West Summit Trail, went down the East Summit Trail, and then walked halfway around the Base Trail to get back to our car. It was exhausting but it was fun! We went to Burger King and got a shake afterwards. So I have had a pretty good day! Unfortunatly, this is all I have to tell you :(. So I will talk to you later!
